The Christchurch Museum has an extraordinarily fascinating inter-active kid’s area to explore and the beautiful Botanic Gardens have a truly outstanding playground for younger children, which also feature a dedicated pool. Kids really like telling their friends about visiting the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and seeing the flightless national bird, the Kiwi bird.
