The 2010 Wairarapa Spring Festival

The 2010 Wairarapa Spring Festival is being held from September 11th to October 10th. A series of family events and attractions will be planned throughout the region with dozens of businesses and organisations on board offering events, discount vouchers for attractions and accommodation deals. The month long event, designed to showcase the entire region, will begin with the famous Carterton Daffodil Carnival which boasts dozens of stalls featuring local crafts and art and children’s entertainment. The event traditionally attracts thousands of people each year and also includes the time-honoured tradition of picking daffodils picking at Middle Run, an historic property at Gladstone.
