Pacific Blue in Fiji expansion

Pacific Blue will launch non-stop services between Adelaide and Fiji and Melbourne and Fiji from June 4. It follows the introduction of flights from Sydney and Brisbane.

Both routes will operate twice weekly. The Adelaide flights will be the first direct
services to Fiji from South Australia.

“We welcome the chance to provide a further boost to tourism to a destination that has attracted consistent demand in terms of our existing services,” Virgin Blue chief executive Brett Godfrey said. “The success of our Fiji services from Brisbane and Sydney has been a strong incentive for us to introduce additional nonstop
services.”

The carrier has launched a ‘Fiji Frenzy’ sale with oneway fares from Adelaide to
Nadi costing $249 and $239 from Melbourne. Tickets are on sale until April 2 and valid for travel between June 4 and June 25 and between July 21 and August 31.
